Zoltan Torkos Kickfilps A Surfboard

by The Editors on March 4, 2011

There have been a few claims at the elusive surf kickflip, but if this video is real (and it appears to be) then on Friday morning, March 4, 2011, Zoltan Torkos did it. Which is good, because he’s been trying them for a while now.

Is it just me or should surfers not be kickflipping!? No disrespect, but lets leave that to skateboarding.

Hey, look! Now surfing is trick-influenced, just like snowboarding… which is basically just like skateboarding… which was inspired by surfing in the first place. Isn’t that neat?

No, it isn’t. It’s kind of boring, actually.

No little flippy trick will ever replace a proper hack on a surfboard. Thankfully.
