The Rail Robbers Of Powder Ridge

by The Editors on December 20, 2010

Someone has stolen a rail from Powder Ridge Winter Recreation Area in Kimball, Minnesota, according to a story on SCtimes.com.

The theft was reported Thursday but it is unknown the exact date the equipment was taken. Stearns County deputies describe the rail as being 27 feet long. . . The first 24 feet are flat and the last 3 feet slope down, Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner said. The top is constructed of 1½-inch steel tubing, rolled on the ends and painted black. It has a flat surface of clear poly plastic.

Not sure when it was taken? Are 27-foot-long flat down rails that hard to miss?
