This article is old. It’s my brother, though. The original article was full of inaccuracies, and has been edited to remove them.
The accident wasn’t hit and run. It sure was a hit, but the skateboarder told my brother to go because he didn’t want him or my brother to get in trouble from the boy’s mother. My 19 year old brother (at the time) is not very smart, and didn’t realize he was required to contact the polices, accident or no. The case came up when the boy’s mom become outraged and forced the boy to come forward. The photo is not the bystander, it’s the boy’s. You can see my brother in the car.. if one were to hit and run, he surely would not stop for photos to be taken of him. especially considering how close you would have to be to take the photo. This is an example of how corrupt the media and police can be, to turn a story to sensationalism. For those who wonder how it turned out, My mother saw the story on the news, and she went with my brother to clear it up. My brother was stuck with a $1k fine for not reporting the accident and leaving the scene.

Toodles.
