Apparently, when Todd Richards isn’t out trying to learn new tricks, he’s out promoting the “extremely fascinating sport of Parkour.” Yes, the same “sport” clowned in the opening segment of this fall’s The Office premiere.
The World Freerunning & Parkour Federation website reports that TR will be hosting a special MTV show on October 22, 2009 titled Ultimate Parkour Challenge.
If you loved the opening chase in CASINO ROYALE, then this show, hosted by Todd Richards, will blow your mind. . . Apparently, the show was originally scheduled to air in April, but got pushed off until October. Oddly, members of the hardcore Parkour community are not happy about the show nor the organization promoting it. Which is kind of funny in itself.
For his part Todd says the show is basically, “Me talking about ninjas getting paid.” And as we all know, Todd has been a ninja supporter since way back in the day.
How does Todd have time to run a snowboard company Omatic between all the bullshit he does?
