Car Windows 1, Skateboarders 0

by The Editors on July 25, 2011

This video showed up on Youtube earlier this month titled “Skaters Save Two Babies From Locked Car,” however, the truth is the skaters were completely unable to break the windows on a small SUV with their skateboards. Nice try though, right? It took one hulking, shirtless, guy with a metal barricade to do the damage (on the second try). Obviously, no one had a broken spark plug.

Bob Burnquist’s New Mega Chipotle Garden

by The Editors on July 19, 2011

Cnburnquist316278X003 1 T352Bob Burnquist is continuing the development of his Vista, California Mega-ramp complex with the addition of a new “Chipoltle Research Garden” according to a story in the San Diego Union-Tribune.

With the Chipotle Research Garden, the purpose is different. This new garden will not only provide food for Burnquist and his family but research data for Chipotle Mexican Grill, as the company will grow new varieties of tomatoes and bell peppers not used in its restaurants. Food from the garden also will be donated to a program for teenage mothers in Vista.

No one grows “green” sponsors better than Farmer Bob. What next, a new eco-house project sponsored by Home Depot?
