Anastasia Ashley’s Swimsuit Issues

by The Editors on February 19, 2014

Op44-237061-Raw1200

We’re not the biggest fans of the jock, team sports mag Sports Illustrated or of its annual porny-spank-book-posing-as-fashion swimsuit issue. But we’re willing to make a couple exceptions: first are the photos by Derek Katella, and second, is for any pro surfer who shows up there. This year it’s Anastasia Ashley and she does it better than most of the fashion models. Guess she’s had a little more experience in a Mikoh bikini.

Nic Suave Is On Slash Snowboards

by The Editors on February 19, 2014

Sauve SlashQuebec’s Nic Sauve has joined Gigi Ruf on the Slash Snowboards program and not surprisingly he is happy about his new revenue stream.

“Really stoked to be part of Slash,” Sauve says. “Since I was a kid I always looked up to Gigi, and I couldn’t be happier to get on this project with him and the rest of this sick crew!”

If you don’t know Mr. Sauve, here’s a little informer ya’ no say dada me Snow me I’ll go blame:

In 2011 the world saw what Nic was capable of, winning Gold at X-Games Snowboard Street. This was the start of something even bigger. Today Nic is 100% focused on filming. This past season he was able to get back to where it all started, traveling around with his closest friends. Together they produced Déjà vu, which dropped this Fall. We could not be happier to help support Nic in his constant progression for years to come.

by The Editors on February 18, 2014

Yes, the shoe giants will try nearly anything to get you to buy a pair of their sporting footwear posing as skate shoes. adidas is even willing to rewrite the history of one of tennis’ greatest living legends and present Stan Smith (yes, that one) as a long closeted skateboarder. Watch, laugh, cry, and then go buy the same pair of shoes that you always buy. And if they’re adidas, score one for the snarky adidas marketing team!
