Hey, everybody have you seen Jeremy Jones‘ nuts they’re round and salty and green. They’re green because they’re pistachios, duh! Apparently, Jones has joined the American Pistachio Growers athlete ambassador team. And Jones is just nutty over pistachios.
“Without proper nutrition, I would not be able to continue to push the limits of what’s possible,” says Jeremy. “Pistachios are an important part of my diet that allow me to stay fueled and recover quickly after intense physical exertion. I’m really pleased to support the growers of a food I love so much.”
We wish more athletes would lend their names to healthy sponsors like this, rather than helping corporations poison the youth of the world. Seriously. For the official nut word from the health nuts, follow the jump. [click to continue…]

The Agenda Show will be dropping in on Las Vegas in August 2013 as part of a strategic alliance called Modern Assembly. Agenda will join AccessoriesTheShow, Capsule, Liberty, MRket, and Stitch at the Venetian and Sands Expo.
In a move that dispels the myths and competitive nature between the fashion tradeshows of yesteryear, the shows that comprise Modern Assembly will provide an ideal mix of resources in the right environments, with the utmost of convenience by co-locating and cross-marketing. Starting this February, Modern Assembly will present a strategic, unified and global approach to promoting Las Vegas as a major fashion destination, to elevate the experience for all participants.
Agenda’s Aaron Levant believes this union of smaller shows is the perfect way to march into the Las Vegas market.
“The Agenda Show thrives on deeply established exhibitor and retailer relationships in the streetwear, lifestyle, and action sports industries and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of this new union of shows,” says Aaron Levant, founder of Agenda. “Modern Assembly will solve the increasing feelings of discontent surrounding the Las Vegas market, by offering a familiar and trusted trade show environment which houses four remarkable shows under one roof.”
We’re looking forward to the Las Vegas August heat already. Pool parties anyone? For the official word, follow the jump. [click to continue…]

When a bank robber in Sterling, Virginia wanted to walk in for some fresh cash on February 14, 2013 he wanted to look his best, according to a story in the Daily Monitor.
The suspect is described as being 6’ tall with an athletic build. He was wearing a black and grey beanie style hat with the numbers 686 on the front and sunglasses. He was also wearing a heavy black jacket and black shirt at the time of the robbery.
Can’t look all ruffled when you’re robbing a bank, especially when you need the money for Valentines Day. If the guy looks familiar (Dennis Rodman?) hit up the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475. They may have a gift for you, too.
