Anastasia Ashley, who has has never been afraid to use all of her talents to keep her surfing career on the up and up, sits down with the HuffPost Live to discuss sexism in surfing.

A lot of people don’t realize that surfing is a very sexualized sport for both males and females. . . when you flip through a surfing magazine not only is it girls in their bathing suits who are very attractive, there are a lot of shirtless guys,” Ashley says. “I think it’s all part of the game. You can’t take it too seriously because it’s a never ending battle.
