Dragon Floats New H20 Eyewear Collection

by The Editors on May 8, 2013

Hard to believe it’s taken until 2013 for an action eyewear company to make sunglasses that don’t sink to the bottom of the ocean the second they get fumbled, but that’s exactly what Dragon’s new H20 line is all about.

“The Floatable sunglasses are super functional for me and my friends,” says Shane Dorian. “For people who spend essentially half their lives around the ocean surfing, fishing, boating, stand up paddling or anything else that’s active, knowing you won’t lose your favorite pair of shades if you drop them into the water is key.”

Yes, it is. With these glasses and his inflatable Billabong wetsuit Mr. Dorian is in danger of drifting right out into space. For the official word from Dragon follow the jump.

Stance’s Contorted Uncommon Threadit

by The Editors on May 3, 2013

Wanna get like totally freaked out? This is a trip man. This chick, she can like sit on the back of her own head. It’s sick, man. Like she’s all double joined and stuff. And it’s all part of a new video series from Stance socks. Apparently, with the right socks you can take some crazy, crazy trips. Forget surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding, these socks can help you do circus acts in dark rooms wearing leotards. Speaking of which, we have to go get ours on right now and get torquing.

REI’s No Questions Asked Return Policy Tested

by The Editors on May 3, 2013

Someone wanted to check out REI’s no questions asked return policy, and fancy that, it appears to work quite well. Why pay for a snowboard when you can simply buy, use, and return with no explanation at all. Retail is still hell and appears to be getting worse by the day.

Supra + G-Shock = It’s About Time

by The Editors on May 2, 2013

Supra Footwear has teamed up with G-Shock for a celebration of the Japanese watch makers 30th Anniversary (has it been that long?) with a G-Shock inspired Vaider Lite high top.

The black Vaider high top is not only elegant enough to stroll down any red carpet, but it also features two SUPRA footwear technologies: the black Satin TUF upper employs SUPRATUF abrasion resistance technology, and the sole is made from lightweight SUPRAFOAM which provides comfort and impact protection. The all black Vaider has red traction pods, custom red G-Shock sock liner, and the tongue features the “It’s About Time” clock set to 8:13 (20:13 in military time).

The Supra “It’s About TIme” watch will be in G-Shock stores on May 11, 2013 the same day the shoe will be in Supra retailers. Wait, so if we want both we have to go to two stores? Seriously? For the official word follow the jump. [click to continue…]
