Return Of The Thiebaud Hanging Klansman

by The Editors on November 21, 2013

For an extremely limited time Real Skateboards is re-releasing the controversial Jim Thiebaud Hanging Klansman graphic and they’re claiming they took the sneaky route.

. . . we went behind Jim’s back to release a very special LTD EDT 20 Year Reissue of his first ever pro deck on REAL Skateboards, the Hanging Klansman to benefit the Johnny Kicks Cancer Foundation. The Hanging Klansman for Johnny Kicks Cancer includes the LTD EDT Hanging Klansman deck in 8.25 X 32, the original Thiebaud Shape 9.75X31.9, a Klansman T-shirt, sticker and LTD EDT Print.

If you want to do something good and relive the good old days, better hurry up because some of this stuff is already sold out online.

Salomon Signs The Mindnich Bros

by The Editors on November 21, 2013

Hans and Nils Mindnich are officially on the Salomon Snowboards AM program. Which appears to be a good deal for everyone. Here’s what Salomon says:

Hans and Nils Mindnich happen to be brothers, but they also happen to be two of the most stylish up and coming snowboarders out there right now. When these guys strap in you never know what is going to happen, but you park it in a good spot to watch because one thing is for sure, it’s going to be wildly entertaining.

Sounds like high fives are in order all around.

Mario, Sonic, & Jamie Anderson Threesome

by The Editors on November 20, 2013

Have to say we cannot disagree with Whitelines when they said:

Jamie, Jamie, Jamie, what were you thinking? All we can say is we hope the money was decent, because this has to be the most cringe worthy advert involving snowboarding we’ve ever seen.

Sometimes it’s just better to keep total and complete control over your brand than to cash the check, then again, cashing checks is what the Olympics are all about. Cha-cha-cha-ching.

I Am Thalente: Up From Africa’s Streets

by The Editors on November 20, 2013

A new documentary I Am Thalente follows the unlikely journey of Thalente Biyela, a South African street kid and skateboarder whose formal education ended at 8. He’s been homeless since 11, and now, thanks to skateboarding, he finds himself rolling with some of the best skateboarders in the business and a U.S. Athlete Visa.

The producers of this film need a little help to get it completed so they’ve turned to crowd funding site Seed & Spark to get things rolling. Check out this trailer, then click the link and do what you can.

Right. You’ve already seen Eric “@ejackshreds” Jackson’s full part in Naturally, but we just blasted it to the big screen with our Google Chromecast and it looked all shiny and new again. You should try it, too. And turn it up.
