Pipeline Responds To Being Cut Short

by The Editors on December 15, 2014

It’s so easy to sit back and talk smack about a call that someone else made. That’s why everyone does it. Here is Surfing Magazine’s video jab at Billabong Pipeline Masters event organizers for calling the contest early yesterday (December 14, 2014) just moments before the Pipeline roared to life with some scary, bumpy ass monster barrels. We have no opinion, we’re glad Surfing Magazine was there to get it all on video and share it with us.

Urban Boogie Sliding With Chris Cote

by The Editors on December 12, 2014

While the West Coast super storm may have kept some Southern Californians indoor the morning of December 12, 2014, it did not keep surf media personality Chris Cote in his cube. No! He ventured out to revive the old sport of kings: urban boogie sliding. Yes, Robert Siegel, this is what your listeners are up to on a stormy Friday morning.

Lib Tech’s 20 Years With Jamie Lynn

by The Editors on December 12, 2014

To celebrate their 20 year partnership with Northwest snowboard legend Jamie Lynn, Lib Tech is releasing a Jamie Lynn 20 year video, micro site and Jamie’s own product line. Here’s the word from Lib:

Jamie was different when we met him at 14 and he is different for the same reasons now. Straight forward power snowboarding, art / design, and living all done with bold undeniable style and the energy of a from. We are excited and thankful to be working with Jamie. It’s been over 20 years and he’s done it all… he could have left, he could have quit, he could have done some weak ass shit but he doesn’t know how. We love him, he has made us all better people, artists and snowboarders. He is a craftsman, his best friends grew up working with us, we grew up working with him… it’s family. If you are a from and don’t know him but like art, music, naked chicks, waves, cats or no bullshit power snowboarding … you are in for a treat!

it’s true. Watch the video and then click the link to check the rest out.

Newsflash: Jed Anderson Is Crazy Loco

by The Editors on December 4, 2014

Seems Salomon’s Jed Anderson is making the rounds these days with his wild antics both on and off the snow. Here are some of Mr. Anderson’s finer moments of skate and snow footage from last year. Sorry, while there’s lots of high-fives and bro hugging there is no boy kissing included in this edit.

Victor De Le Rue On The Search

by The Editors on December 3, 2014

More snow shred action from Rip Curl, Absinthe Films, and Victor De Le Rue.

Victor DE LE RUE is an amazing rider who raised his riding skills to another level last season. Riding steep icy lines, massive kickers in the BC or simply playing with natural terrain in Alaska, Victor can do it all.

Yes, it appears that he can.
