Not, bad huh? Especially compared to the powder in the Long Beach, California Convention Center today. . .

Matt Cummins has been on the snow scene forever. He’s had a pro model longer than most pros have been alive (25 years with the Mervin crew):
He has used this opportunity to continually push snowboard designs from the earliest skate influenced twin tip MC Kink to today’s powder hungry Nootka. His designs, priorities and style forever changed the sport and paved the way for generations of pros. We are proud to celebrate Matt’s 25 years with Mervin Manufacturing and the Lib Tech brand. This video is just a taste of the legacy of Matt and the Cummins family!
Just press play and see it all for yourself. If you’d like to see what Jamie Lynn has to say about Matt, follow the jump.

Don’t think that just because it’s 2016 that it’s too late for another “best of 2015,” because DLXSF has this combo clip of the best of BS with TG and it’s like seeing all the Tommy Guerrero stuff you missed all year, right here in one place including Jim Thiebaud, Frank Gerwer, Max Schaaf, James Kelch, Orb, and Mickey Reyes. What’s not to like?

We know this is late, but now that the backwash has settled and all the details have been leaked on Kelly Slater’s epically perfect Lemoore, California wave pool (thanks, Swellnet and Reddit) the big question becomes: would you surf in Kelly’s foamy, brown water?
We’d definitely stop each time we made a run up I-5 and get thrown over the falls a couple times even if it was in a pond filled with industrial farming run off because the wave is just that beautiful.

Skaters in Llanera, Asturias, Spain got together with artist Okuda San Miguel and created an art project that is a skatepark. Sadly, the colored cow was involved, however, you should check it out anyway.

Zumiez dropped this Supra “branded experience” on 50 lucky mall shoppers. Forty-eight hours at Woodward West with these cats wouldn’t be such a bad deal, huh? That’s just one of the ways that Zumiez gives back, and we’d take it for sure.

It’s been decades since Oakley has designed a pair of sunglasses that a skateboarder would wear. Their Frogskins were about it and they were released in 1985. Now, thanks to some input from skateboarders Eric Koston, Sean Malto, Curran Caples and skate photog Atiba Jefferson Oakley has a pretty smooth set of shades that not only look good, but come with some needed function for anyone who has ever clipped their glasses over the neck of their T-shirt. They’re called the Oakley Latch.
“It was just amazing to team up with three skate legends and see this frame come to life,” said Jefferson. “We collaborated with the Oakley design team on all elements – from frame shape to logo placement – to develop a truly signature product that I know we’re all really proud of.”
The “latch” is located behind the hinge on each side of the glasses and allows the glasses to be locked on to the neck of a T-shirt. We had a little trouble latching the shades to the shirt (it often took two hands), but once the latch is attached our days of spilling our sunglasses onto the street were over.
The Latch retails starting at $130 and can be purchased online at Oakley. For the official word from Oakley, follow the jump.

There’s no doubt that the structure Tony Hawk built on his ramp is a mind (and body) twister. But is it a horizontal loop, or just a bowl with a ridable drain? You be the judge.

Sierra-at-Tahoe, one of our favorite NorCal resorts, is opening on Friday, November 20, 2015.
“The last time we opened this early was 11 years ago,” says General Manager, John Rice. “A November opening is giving us a great outlook for the rest of the season. In a similar year, we logged as much as 499 inches of snowfall. It should still be noted that early season conditions exist and we will open more terrain once conditions permit.”
For the official word from Sierra, please follow the jump.
