Some snowboarders who looked like they had no idea what they were doing started an avalanche in Italy.
A walker who had seen (and filmed) the accident, called police who conducted a four hour search using dogs, heat seeking equipment and a helicopter. While officers were unable to find the snowboarding trio, it is believed they escaped unhurt.
This is a perfect reminder to avoid stopping in slide zones and to be clear before someone drops in above you.

Apparently, the Burton Canadian Open was going on this weekend up in the Great White North somewhere (WinSport Canada’s Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta).
