Ride Snowboards has released the final graphic in the DH2 Limited Edition Artist Series with a collaboration with Mythical Creature Collective.
The DH2.7 is like nothing you’ve seen yet, as Ride pulled in the minds of three unique creatures, U. Nipeg, the Chizard, and Pan D. Puss, to concoct the rarest breed ever ridden. Hailing from the furthest reaches of the Himalayas, the three were banished to the Pacific Northwest by forces of evil, only to have one of their own turn upon them in a fit of madness. The Ride crew found them in their last hours and was able capture their fate bringing their final masterpiece to light. (Witness the moment of creation of the DH 2.7)

Maglev (derived from magnetic levitation), is a system of transportation that uses magnetic levitation to suspend, guide and propel vehicles from magnets rather than using mechanical methods, such as friction-reliant wheels, axles and bearings. Maglev transport is a means of flying a vehicle or object along a guideway by using magnets to create both lift and thrust, only a few inches above the guideway surface.

Former Transworld Business Editor Josh Hunter is now directing Southern California’s latest action fashion trade show for GLM Shows ( Surf Expo’s parent company). It’s called Launch and it sounds a lot like a more corporate version of the Agenda Show.
This “juried show” will be held July 25-26, 2012 in Santa Monica, California’s Barker Hangar. It appears that Launch has lined up a few fashion hitters to help kick things off. For more background on Launch check out an interview with Hunter at Transworld Business or follow the jump for the official word.

From the above footage from Saturday’s street recap it would seem that the extra drive out into the sticks kept the lurkers out and everyone got down to some serious skateboarding. Congrats. Follow the jump for full results [click to continue…]
