Mammoth Mountain opened at 8:30 AM yesterday with a bit of snow, freezing temps, lots of dirt and high wind. But none of that slowed the hard core. No. They were out and charging. Yobeat was there to document.

When you get back out on snow this season, remember: Snowboarding is not as easy as the pros make it look (most of the times). Thanks to Arthur Longo, Gigi Rüf and the entire Pirate Movie Production crew for the reminder.

Sadly, this clip features no mustachios. How can that be Zac Marben?

Louis-Felix Paradis goes snowboarding and we all get to watch.
This video features footage that earned him the 2012 X Games Real Snow gold medal, some of his time spent on Team Vacation, and some footage that until now, no one has seen. Louif is not a loud, in-your-face type of guy; he takes technical riding to the streets with modesty, unparalleled grace, and deafening style. Thousands have emulated him, but there can be only one. This is Louif.
Apparently, it is. Enjoy.

Yep. Apparently, Alana Smith became the second girl ever to do a McTwist. We’re not really into glorifying trick progression, but sure a 12-year-old girl landing a trick that guys have been doing for 28 years is good right? It happened at Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the “exposed” women’s skate contest at the YMCA in San Diego. Congrats, Alana. You’re good.

If you’re at work, turn it down unless you like blasting the f-bombs. Yeah, Alito’s part is that hard.
