Nothing better on a Thursday afternoon than a little retro skate edit featuring all the heavies from the Del Mar glory days. Tony Hawk, Christian Hosoi, Tod Swank, Dave Swift, Owen Nieder, Kevin Staab, and Grant Brittain. Rad.
For this month’s Every Third Thursday the Signal Snowboards crew clicked deeply into the Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 world to deliver a “bona-fide bulletproof Snowboard.” You know, for the times you’re caught in the crossfire and you need a little cover. We haven’t seen this much blood in a snowboard edit since RedSnow.
This little clip of Peter Devries and Noah Cohen getting into some cold Canadian ramps is called Birds of a Feather. It’s from the Sitka Surfboards crew up in the wilds of Canadalandia. Our fingers are numb just from watching this. But it was worth it.
It’s always good to get a peek into the minds behind the cameras and this short on Matt Georges from the Pirate Movie Crew is no exception. The big question: Does Matt consider himself an “artist” or a “tool”? Watch the video and you’ll get the answer.
So it’s November and the action Internets of the world are all aflutter with the new Reef calendar. This document is full of hot ass, asses, ass in the water, ass out of the water, and ass next to the water. Several of the asses even have heads, fewer still have faces. If hot ass is your thing, then Reef certainly has the hot ass calendar for you.
This year’s collection of monthly ass-attacks is reportedly: “. . . dedicated to the welcoming people of Ecuador, particularly the government and local people of San Cristobal, for their warm hospitality and enthusiasm in collaboration on this project.” Apparently the people of Ecuador enjoy ass as much as the next guy.
From the looks of this promo we’d have to say that the new Neffland Park at Park City is going to be a rainbow of flavor. Seems like this video could use a little snow, or something. Shed like never before, rave bro.
It’s Wednesday, here’s a full shred film available for online viewing absolutely free. What else have you got going on? Right. Just click the arrow and check out Media Offline from Skeleton Crew. It’s live for one day only and Pat Bridges even has a part!
[Editors’ Note: Show’s over. Nothing to see here. One day it was here, the next it was gone. What did you miss? The best raw snow edit we’ve seen all year.]
Last month we mentioned that along with being one of the best surfers of all time Tom Curren can also sing. . . well. Here’s the proof in the video for Summerland Road. Though we are kind of wondering where his duet partner is. She pretty much makes the song and yet is conspicuously missing from the video. Hmmmm?
TimeLine Films‘ second movie White Noise will be released soon and until then here’s a little teaser of some of the Xavier de La Rue big mountain badassness that is on its way.
This year, not only it will show the best shots from the season but also it will give an intimate and artsy angle to why Xavier is riding like he does. His way of approaching the mountain has gotten himself noticed these past season by the snowboard scene and also mainstream media.
