According to Radar Online the Bam sex tape that was reported by The New York Post’s Page Six does not exist and we are relieved.
In what’s likely more indicative of a legal threat and a slow news day than a dedication to accuracy, Page Six admits today that an alleged sex tape featuring the fiancée of Gregg “Opie” Hughes (of radio’s Opie and Anthony) and MTV’s Bam Margera does not, in fact, exist. Steppin’ Out magazine’s Chaunce Hayden is assigned the blame for providing the Post with bogus info.

After seeing all the things that Bam has no problem sharing with the world via his Jackass escapades, him having sex would probably be one of the least offensive things we’ve seen. But that’s exactly what is reportedly on it’s way via a pay-per-view website.
The TV star – who has previously been romantically linked to Jessica Simpson – is allegedly shown in the tape performing sex acts with blonde Lindsay Hughes, the fiancee of New York radio host Gregg ‘Opie’ Hughes.
U.S. magazine Steppin’ Out reports the tape has been obtained by a former employee of Gregg Hughes, who is now considering taking legal action in a bid to stop the film being published on the Internet. . . . The publication’s Chaunce Hayden tells New York gossip column PageSix, “They’re doing the nasty – and I mean nasty. Hughes is taking legal action to prevent its distribution.

According to LiveNews.com.au Koby Abberton has been asking his girlfriend Tahyna Tozzi to marry him repeatedly, but the girl keeps saying no.
“I ask her to marry me every single day, but she keeps saying no,” he said. . . For her part, Tozzi tells News Limited Abberton was far from the ruffian his reputation suggested. . . . “I’m not saying Koby is an innocent angel – because I know he can be a boy – but to me he’s just a teddy bear,” she said. . . . Abberton is due to face court next month after being charged with assault in a recent Hawaiian bar brawl.
What could possibly be stopping her?

Australian newspaper the Geelong Advertiser has run a story today claiming that Kelly Slater decided to surf in the Rip Curl event because of comments from the newspaper’s readers.
Readers and local surfers – including big wave champion Tony Ray – appeared in a video stating why they felt Slater should compete. . . . The message got through, according to the 36-year-old American, who said he changed his mind after watching the video on the internet.
While we’re sure he changed his mind post video viewing, we’re going to guess that there was a lot more going on than pressure from the locals. . . you know, like another title? And, more media incentive money, and the chance to jack with the rest of the ASP top 44.

Goldcoast.com.au has the full rundown of surfing’s version of the royal wedding on the Goldie March 15, 2008, as APS World Champion Mick Fanning married Karissa Dalton.
Despite the lavish setting for the wedding, Ms Osborne said the outdoor ceremony and reception which ran until midnight with a swing band were kept low key to reflect the couple’s down-to-earth nature. “It was just people who were of longstanding support to Mick and Karissa who were at the wedding,”she said. Ms Osborne said the bride looked particularly stunning in her white, designer wedding dress.
So far no photos from any of the surf mags. Maybe the special deal the Fannings made with “a women’s magazine also meant no other media were allowed in for the the ceremony.”
