Who better to guide a Wall Street Journal tour of the NYC Burton Store than long-time snowboard entrepreneur Rohan Marley. You can probably guess the rest.

We don’t follow and/or watch NBC/MTV’s Dew Tour, but like most of America we follow Shaun White. In Salt Lake City last weekend he whooped all the other vert dogs to win one on the Dew Tour and even landed the armadillo on his last air. The results looked like this:
1. Shaun White 94.75
2. Pierre-Luc Gagnon 90.50
3. Bucky Lasek 88.25
4 . Andy Macdonald 83.50
5 . Bob Burnquist 63.00
Not bad for a snowboarder.

Last week Youtube.com began testing some live broadcasts with several different partners. In one of their tests they featured a live interview with Tony Hawk in conjunction with YoungHollywood.com and according to Techcrunch.com no one showed up.
Well, Tony Hawk just finished an appearance on Young Hollywood right now, and the number of viewers never went above 500, according to the view counter at the bottom of the player. For most of the segment, it was much less—at one point I saw 9 viewers, then 81. As a point of reference, when we livestream TechCrunch events, we often get 2,000 to 3,000 concurrent viewers, and that is without being promoted on YouTube’s homepage. So 500 viewers for Tony Hawk is really nothing.
Then again, we didn’t know Tony was going to be on. If he’d told us we could have rounded up a couple dozen more people, no problem.

First, Sal Masekela tweets about sitting next to Stephanie Pratt on a Southwest flight and the next thing we know the pair is out shopping on Robertson Boulevard, according to Gossip Center. Maybe Sal has access to one of Stephanie’s brothers latest videos. . .
She’s always up for a good time and Saturday (August 21) Stephanie Pratt was spotted at the 2010 Miss Malibu Pageant. . . The day before, Miss Pratt was out on Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles with television presenter Sal Masekela for some retail therapy.
Yeah, Nixon.

This fall BET will be airing a new reality show titled Being Terry Kennedy. The show reportedly follows TK around as he “becomes a mogul in skateboarding” and conquers “so much through that like music, fashion and actually being a family rooted person through it all,” according to an interview with the Atlanta Post.
For audio of TK talking about the show click here for an interview with Teamyee.tv. And for the full season one wrap party check out the photos on the Supra Blog.

Mossimo has done it. Jean Paul Gaultier, too. Even Shaun White has done a deal with Target. Now Paul Rodriguez is taking money from the discount retailer, too. And to make it more real, he’s tied this deal to his childhood.
“I grew up right across the street from a Target and have many memories of skating over to the store as a kid,” said Paul. “I’ve always loved their brand and am excited about the relationship and potential of what we can do together.”
But more than anything, we’re guessing Paul loves that massive paycheck that only a multi-national discount retailing sponsor can provide. Wonder what products his name will go on first. . . we’re guessing they’ll do the entire Shaun White line with new P-Rod graphics.
Full press release after the jump.

The news filtered out August 10, 2010 on PerezHilton.com that Bam Margera had been “detained” in New Zealand. Then Stuff.co.nz said that Bam had been “ejected from Auckland Airport for being too drunk and obnoxious to fly,” but now Bam’s friends are reportedly saying that he may have been given the date rape drug Rohypnol. Bam told The Daily Telegraph the following:
“I was totally boozed one night and remember waking up with this chick on top of me going “I love you, I love’ and I was like ‘who the f … are you!?” he said backstage at a gig for US rock band CKY on Saturday.
Promoting Jackass 3D down under is apparently a dangerous job.
