According to these photos from x17 online, it would appear that surfer Jon Rose is checking his Code Red PMS alert app to see what mood Pamela Anderson is in at the moment. From the look on her face, she’s all good. x17 says:
The sexy twosome couldn’t keep their hands off each other while strolling through Ibirapuera Park in Sao Paulo, Brazil for World Water Day. Looks like Pam has snatched up another hottie! . . Besides loving the beach, the two have something else in common … both are activists. While Pam is dedicated to PETA, Rose is the founder of Waves for Water, an organization whose mission is to “get clean water to everyone who needs it.”
While on tour in the UK, “Canadian heart-throb” Justin Bieber apparently made a trip to Manchester’s indoor shred-dome Chill Factore, according to a story on Men Media.
First he headed to the indoor ski slope at Chill Factore next to the Trafford Centre, before heading down the road for a pitstop at the Daytona go-karting track.
From the photos it would appear that Shaun White doesn’t have much to worry about currently.
In the last of our coverage of Tony Hawk’s most recent divorce comes news that Matty Goodman is “cool with,” Tony dating his wife, according to Radaronline.com.
In response, Goodman said:
“I know people will think it is strange but I’m totally cool with it,” Goodman told RadarOnline.com about Hawk dating his wife. . . “I had split up with Cathy over a year ago and she started dating Tony about seven months ago. . . I have a new girlfriend now and I hope Tony, Cathy and Lhoste can all be happy. . . “I texted Tony today and we are all trying our best to get along. . . Our kids are all friendly and we do not want a bad situation – people are making it a bigger deal than it is.”
Yes they are. And that sounds just like the Matty Goodman we know. Now we’re done.
Sources said Merriam found out about her action-sport-star husband’s new relationship in December after she found a plane ticket for Cathy that Hawk had booked for her to join him in San Francisco — despite his being lifelong friends with [her husband].
Bummer all around. We did, however, have to laugh with the blog The Blemish who titled their post on this story, Tony Hawk Is Lazy.
The DC Mountain Lab in Glenwild, Utah’s The Ranches at The Preserve is up for sale, according to a story in the Park Record. It seems Ken Block is ready to move on and is only asking $6.9 million for the historic shred palace.
The DC Mountain Lab has been the cause of some arguments over the years, so to make peace Block agreed to remove man-made obstacles such as jumps and rails. . . Realtor Paul Benson is courting buyers with the remaining rope tow serving 10 runs. There is also a four-bedroom, 3,800-square-foot guest house and a building pad for a larger home.
That means all the rails, jumps, and features are gone, but still a private resort on 22 acres just a short 15 minute drive from Park City? Sounds like something Shaun White should look into. . . but he shouldn’t expect the homeowners association to welcome him.
The Hydrilla’s Cullen Poythress interviews Henry Rollins on the topics of skateboarding, punk rock, the Internet, and kids today. For those old enough to have seen Black Flag play in the summer of 1982, or those young enough to wonder, this is a great interview. Read it and smile.
The youth have been satiated. They have ipads, ipods, iphones, and everything is a point and a click away. The format that used to raise the parents’ ire, it being music or whatever, it’s all kind of okay now. The Internet gives you a great deal of access and a great deal of privacy. You can view your online porn and you can make your own porn with your girlfriend and post it to the delight of all your class mates. There’s not a lot of people saying, “No”, at this point.
Can’t really argue with anything but the privacy thing. Click the link and read the rest.
Shaun White stepping up his acting (and lady killee) game in the new Black Keys video Howling For You. Don’t worry about having to watch the entire video.
We really were going to ignore this whole story, but then it got so big that we figured we’d have to put it in the log for posterity sake.
On Friday, February 4, 2010, (ten days before Valentine’s Day) Tony Hawk reportedly filed for divorce in San Diego, California from his third wife Lhotse Merriam, according to US Magazine and nearly everyothercelebritymediaoutlet (except Perez Hilton).
“We have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” the parents of two-year-old Kadence Clover told UsMagazine.com in a joint statement. “We remain deeply committed and loving parents to our daughter, and out of respect for that responsibility we ask that people honor our family’s privacy during this important time of transition. Thank you for your understanding.”
The couple was married for five years. Without going into all the rumors, we’ll just say something we’ve said several times before: we hope Tony eventually finds what he’s looking for because he certainly seems optimistic about the institution of marriage. Plus, by now he probably has something close to a Massey Prenup all dialed and ready to sign.
She’s got an amazing voice and tickles the ivories like few women can, but we’ve never actually enjoyed looking at Lady Gaga. That may have changed with Terry Richardson photos of the Lady for Purple Magazine. Who knew that all she needed to look reasonably normal was a Supreme deck and some shades.
