Back in the day it seemed we were always seeing Sean Sheffey<\/strong> on his bike, skateboard strapped to his backpack, pedaling up and down Coast Highway on his way to and from work. Now, according to a story in the Deseret News<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, Sheffey has joined The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints<\/a><\/strong>. . . aka The Church, aka The Mormons.<\/p>\n

In 2023, Sheffey was resting at the skate park in Encinitas, California, when two missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints approached him and asked if they could pray with him. . . \u201cI was missing a lot of my prayers and Bible study for some years then. It was just absent in my life by choice, and I thought at that point I had room to welcome God and religion back in my life,\u201d Sheffey said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
