Sticky Bumps<\/strong> is happy to welcome big wave icon\u00a0Jamie Mitchell<\/strong> to their Elite\u00a0Team.<\/p>\n Jamie Mitchell has been called the \u201cWorld\u2019s Greatest Waterman\u201d and is said to \u201cooze greatness.\u201d He is a lover of all watersports, especially big wave surfing and paddle boarding. He does these sports with such confidence and ease, it is no wonder Sticky Bumps has added him to their Elite Team alongside other amazing big wave surfers, Garrett McNamara<\/strong>, Coco Nogales<\/strong>, Trevor Sven Carlson<\/strong>, Danny Griffiths<\/strong>, Niccolo Porcella<\/strong>, Aaron Gold<\/strong>, Shane Dorian<\/strong>, and Chuck Patterson<\/strong>. Jamie has used Sticky Bumps for years, and will continue to do so as a brand ambassador. \nHailing from Coffs Harbour in New South Wales, Australia and now residing on the North Shore of Oahu, Jamie has been in the surf world for a long time and is a Renaissance man in terms of wave riding. Kelly Slater is quoted saying Jamie is \u201cone of the greatest unknown sportsmen of all time. Ten years he has won the Molokai channel paddle race \u2026 his winning percentage is higher than anyone in any sport ever.\u201d Jamie loves and excels at ocean paddling, big wave riding, towing in, stand up paddling, using foil boards, and canoe surfing. As previously stated by Kelly, Jamie has won ten consecutive Molokai to Oahu Paddleboard World Championships, and since 2002 has won basically every major paddleboard race he has entered. Recently, he has been competing on the World Surf League\u2019s Big Wave tour, taking 5th at the 2015 Titans of Mavericks, 4th at The Eddie, and nominated for the 2016 Surfline Best Overall Performance Award. Jamie also has his own line of paddleboards created by master shaper Adrian Birse, JM Paddleboards.<\/p>\n
