The ASP World Tour<\/strong><\/a> fires back up today with Round 1 of the 2013 Volcom Fiji Pro<\/strong><\/a> at Cloudbreak. Jordy Smith<\/strong>, Sebastian Zietz<\/strong>, and Freddie P<\/strong> will hit the water at 3:30 PM PST (Tuesday, June 4, 2013 10:30 AM Fiji time).<\/p>\n

\u201cConditions have continued to improve this morning and we\u2019ll be commencing Round 1 of competition at 10:30am,\u201d Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge said. \u201cWe anticipate running all of Round 1 and will monitor conditions throughout the day, making adjustments accordingly. \nCLOUDBREAK, Tavarua\/Fiji (Tuesday, June 4, 2013) \u2013 Round 1 of the Volcom Fiji Pro has been called ON this morning with the opening heats commencing at 10:30am in clean and building four-to-six foot (1.5 to 2 metre) waves at the primary venue of Cloudbreak.<\/p>\n

Event No. 4 of 10 on the 2013 ASP World Championship Tour (WCT), the Volcom Fiji Pro has attracted the world\u2019s best surfers to the idyllic Fijian atolls of Tavarua and Namotu to do battle at the world-renowned breaks of Cloudbreak and Restaurants fas the hunt for this year\u2019s world surfing crown resumes.<\/p>\n

Surfline, official forecasters for the Volcom Fiji Pro, are calling for:
\nNew, long period SW swell will fill in through the day on Tuesday as the shorter period SSE swell continues to fade. The SW groundswell continues on Wednesday. A solid, mid period SW swell will build in for Thursday before easing Friday with moderate SE trades. Smaller, but still good size, SW swells are on the long range radar for Sunday and Tuesday.
