\"Screen-Shot-2012-11-22-At-6.21.54-Am-524X607\"<\/a>Jazz piano prodigy Austin Peralta<\/a><\/strong>, the son of Bones Brigade co-creator Stacy Peralta<\/strong>, has died according to a story in the LA Times<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. He turned 22 on October 25, 2012.<\/p>\n

Flying Lotus, the beat producer and label head who released Peralta’s music, confirmed the news Thursday morning via Twitter, writing: “it kills me to type that we lost a member of our family, Austin Peralta. I don’t really have the right words right now.” Peralta’s cause of death has not been announced.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Peralta, who released two jazz albums by the time he was 16, was reportedly working on a new album on Brainfeeder<\/a><\/strong>. Our thoughts are with Peralta’s family and friends.<\/p>\n
