ENCINITAS, CA-The battle for the heaviest wave and the third stop of the 2011 Nixon WTA (Winner-Takes-All) will kick-off during the Billabong Pro in Teahupoo, Tahiti, August 20-31, 2011. Hosting one of the most weighted waves in the world, Teahupoo is an ideal spot to award a surfer for \u201cheaviest wave.\u201d<\/p>\n

Open to all surfers participating in the Billabong Pro, it\u2019s fair game to take home this exclusive Nixon watch created especially for this stop of the tour. This year\u2019s Teahupoo watch is valued at $10,000 USD and features a custom engraved caseback, a Swiss tide movement, 60 rubies around the bezel, four two-millimeter decorative black diamonds on the dial, and 24 black diamonds on the dial for hour indices. The Magnacon SS comes complete with an applied Tahitian flag with the country colors on the hands, making it truly symbolic and unique.<\/p>\n
