\"Byb2\"<\/a>Salomon Snowboards<\/a><\/strong> returns to Denver’s Art Institue of Colorado<\/a><\/strong> for their 2nd Annual Denver Backyard Bang<\/a><\/strong> Rail Jam<\/strong> this Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 11 am to 4 pm. And unlike other upcoming Denver snowboard events<\/a><\/strong>, this one is absolutely free.<\/p>\n

Backyard Bang will welcome appearances by Salomon pro riders Jed Anderson<\/strong>, Chris Grenier<\/strong>, Louif Paradis<\/strong>, Bode Merrill<\/strong>, Desiree Melancon<\/strong>, Scotty Arnold<\/strong> as the Emcee, and more. Top amateur riders from around the nation will also participate in the competition. . . Over 30 distinctively-designed snowboards created by Art Institute of Colorado students, alumni and prospective students will be on display in the John Jellico Gallery<\/strong> at The Art Institute of Colorado from November 10-19, 2010. The collection of snowboards will be auctioned during the Backyard Bang Rail Jam on Saturday, November 20, 2010. All proceeds benefit The Education Foundation and support student scholarships.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nBackyard Bang Rail Jam Brings Snowboarding Back to the City
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kick off the winter season with the 2nd annual Denver Backyard Bang Rail Jam. A grassroots snowboarding competition, Backyard Bang will be held Saturday, November 20, 2010, from 11 am to 4 pm, at The Art Institute of Colorado at 1200 Lincoln Street in downtown Denver. <\/p>\n

Hosted by Salomon Snowboards and The Art Institute of Colorado, the homegrown rail jam brings several of the best up and coming pros and amateurs from the Rocky Mountain region and beyond back to compete in the heart of Denver\u2019s Golden Triangle District. <\/p>\n

The competition kicks off with practice at 12:15 pm, followed by the first of three heats at 1:00 pm. The second and third heats begin at 1:25 pm and 1:50 pm, with finals following at 2:20 pm. Awards will be presented at 4:00 pm.<\/p>\n

Backyard Bang will welcome appearances by Salomon pro riders Jed Anderson, Chris Grenier, Louif Paradis, Bode Merrill, Desiree Melancon, Scotty Arnold as the Emcee, and more. Top amateur riders from around the nation will also participate in the competition.<\/p>\n
