\"Sheckles\"<\/a>Ryan Sheckler’s<\/strong> truck (but maybe not Ryan) was involved in an “intense midnight” shootout on Friday night, according to TMZ<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to Orange County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to a call about a traffic collision late Friday night involving a possible drunk driver — but when they showed up, we’re told, the driver motored it away from the scene. . . Law enforcement sources tell us … officers chased the driver down and cornered him on a dead end street — the driver panicked, pulled a U-turn, and gunned it in the cops’ direction … at which point, we’re told, sheriff’s deputies drew their weapons and shot at the truck. . . We’re told the driver — who turned out to be an unidentified minor — wasn’t hit … and gave up immediately after the deputies shot their weapons.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

TMZ says the truck was later reported stolen by Sheckler. Hmm. . .<\/p>\n

At appoximately 1:30PM (November 1, 2010) the following tweet was sent out on Ryan Sheckler’s official Twitter<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWanted to let everyone know Ryan is safe. His vehicle was stolen from his house, located in a secured gated community Friday night. Ryan is no way involved in this incident nor has any connection to the suspect. Ryan thanks his friends and fans for the concern.\u201d- Representative of Ryan Sheckler at Wasserman Media Group<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
