According to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/cbs5.com\/localwire\/22.0.html?type=bcn&amp;item=SKATEBOARD-ACCIDENT-08-01\" target=\"_blank\">CBS5.com<\/a><\/strong><strong> Joshua Silva<\/strong>, 28, was found unconscious and bleeding from his head in Pleasenton, California at 10:45 PM September 2, 2009.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>He was taken to Eden Medical Center to be treated for a possible skull fracture. . . A preliminary investigation indicates Silva had been drinking alcohol and fell off his skateboard while riding on Birch Creek Drive, police reported. . . No witnesses were located and there was no evidence that another person or a vehicle was involved in the incident. . . Silva, who was not wearing a helmet, was in serious condition this morning, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is the third skater found found by the side of the road in the past two months.
