Sadly, the story of Dane Williams, the missing Hurley International marketing worker hasn’t ended the way we all hoped: he didn’t run off with in someone’s private jet to catch first tracks, or to ride a secret wave.
Police were called by a man who saw the body in the alley off 52nd Street near Towle Court about 6:30 a.m., said homicide Lt. Kevin Rooney. . . . Rooney said the physical description matched that of Dane Chandler Williams, who was last seen about 2 a.m. Saturday at 6th and K streets in downtown San Diego. The clothing also appeared to match what Williams was wearing when he disappeared, Rooney said.
Williams family has since identified the body. Police do not as yet have a cause of death, but an “autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.”
