Contest surfer Jack Freestone<\/strong> has just re-signed with surf hardware company Creatures of Leisure<\/strong> until 2022. Freestone, whose career highlights range from 2x World Junior Titles to comboing Kelly Slater in heaving Teahupoo last year, says the deal gives him much-needed peace of mind.<\/p>\n \u201cHaving full faith in your equipment is crucial,\u201d says Freestone. \u201cAt the end of the day as a surfer that\u2019s something you can\u2019t put a price on. He\u2019s a major asset to Creatures, both as a surfer and someone who helps us push to improve what we do.\u201d<\/p>\n Freestone\u2019s signature Creatures styles include his wide tail pad design, which suits his bigger feet. At Jack\u2019s direction, they\u2019re all made from THERMO-LITE materials too, keeping everything thinner, lighter and more responsive. In keeping with Jack\u2019s environmentally-conscious nature he also insisted on a more sustainable EcoPure\u00ae option that has been released this year.<\/p>\n
\nWith the competitive season on hold, Jack has been sharpening his skills and testing his equipment around his home in Kauai. Always fine-tuning his approach is something Freestone also brings across when contributing input for his signature Creatures styles.<\/p>\n
