Canada, south of Nelson, according to a story in <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theprovince.com\/Sports\/Injured+snowboarder+rescued+after+trio+caught+avalanche\/1340867\/story.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Province<\/a><\/em><\/strong><em>.<\/em> All are lucky to be alive.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The trio were swept up and carried an estimated 150 metres before coming to a rest. One of them had his snowboard snapped in half and ended up caught in a tree. . . .
