Now his wife Jennifer is suing the &#8220;California-based motorized skateboard manufacturer and its Hawai&#8217;i distributor,&#8221; according to a story in the <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.honoluluadvertiser.com\/article\/20090224\/NEWS20\/902240322\/1170\" target=\"_blank\">Honolulu Advertiser<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The lawsuit alleges that the wheels of the board came in contact with Patterson&#8217;s feet or the board, causing an abrupt change in speed and direction, effectively throwing him off the skateboard. The suit claims that the board was poorly designed and built. . . .The electric skateboards are manufactured and sold by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.exkate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chase Boards LLC<\/a><\/strong> in Orange County, Calif.
