For the official word from Venture, please follow the jump.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Silverton, Colorado, USA \u2013 August 17, 2016 \u2013 After a hiatus last winter that sent fans reeling, craft manufacturer Venture Snowboards announced today that the company is back in action for the 2016\/2017 winter season. \u201cSeventeen years and counting, we are back and more dedicated than ever to the pursuit of the ultimate ride,\u201d said founder and owner Klemens Branner.<\/p>\n<p>Venture\u2019s new website is now live at venturesnowboards.com, and showcases a diverse board lineup that includes a mix of tried and true award winners like the Zelix and Storm, as well as a few exciting new additions. Winning a Board Insiders Shred Cred Award right out of the starting gate, the all-mountain Paragon is a versatile and playful board that can tackle anything from groomers to powder. Some freshly designed women\u2019s specific shapes are also on tap, including the all mountain Oracle and the freeride focused Tempest, which is available both solid and split. \u201cWhile we\u2019re known for our freeride decks and splitboards, these new models are intended to have a broader appeal and are the direct result of rider feedback,\u201d said Branner.<\/p>\n<p>A team of brand Ambassadors has also been recruited to spread the Venture word far and wide. Members come from all walks of life, and run the gamut from the dedicated weekend warrior to the seasoned snow sports professional. According to Branner, they all share one thing in common: \u201cFor all of us, snowboarding is at the core of our identities.
