So they&#8217;ve\u00a0moved out longtime CEO <strong>Jason Steris<\/strong>\u00a0and consolidated Volcom&#8217;s (and Electric&#8217;s) leadership under Kering&#8217;s\u00a0chief executive of the Action Sports Brands <strong>Todd Hymel<\/strong> (right), according to a story in <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocbj.com\/news\/2015\/dec\/09\/volcom-names-ceo\/\">Orange County Business<\/a><\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hymel, a 41-year-old U.S.-French national, moved to Orange County in May to take on \u201ca more active role in the development, expansion and performance of the Volcom and Electric brands worldwide.\u201d He joined Kering in 2008 as deputy director of mergers and acquisitions and was appointed chief operating officer of its Sport and Lifestyle Division in 2012.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>See, the new owners always move their people in\u00a0eventually.
