The patent was filed on November 14, 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The newly patented system, which looks\u00a0similar to the\u00a0Burton\u00a0SI bindings of yesteryear with the addition of\u00a0an elaborate heel latching mechanism, was apparently &#8220;invented&#8221; by <strong>Raymond Robert Kavarsky, Jr<\/strong>., <strong>Christopher M. Doyle<\/strong>, and <strong>Scott T.
