Canada’s alternative action print group The King Publishing Project <\/strong>has just rolled in a few new titles. Joining them at King Shit<\/em><\/strong>, King Snow<\/em><\/strong>, and Later<\/em><\/strong> are Canadian skate mag Concrete<\/em><\/strong> and the trade mag The Board Press<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery skateboarder here knows what Concrete has meant for the scene in this country; they\u2019re the original Canadian skateboard mag. Even when King Shit was competing against it, we respected everything they did for skateboarding,\u201d said King Publishing Project President Ryan Stutt<\/strong>. \u201cBy bringing Concrete and their team into the King fold, we\u2019re going to be creating a whole new media network for Canadian skateboarding, which we hope the community here will rally behind.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Longest-standing skateboard magazine in Canada and industry trade publication have found a new home at The King Publishing Project.
\nWe are excited to announce that Canada\u2019s longest-standing skateboard magazine, Concrete Skateboarding and newly formed industry trade publication, The Board Press, have joined the King Publishing Project, home of King Shit, LATER Magazine, and King Snow.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery skateboarder here knows what Concrete has meant for the scene in this country; they\u2019re the original Canadian skateboard mag. Even when King Shit was competing against it, we respected everything they did for skateboarding,\u201d said King Publishing Project President Ryan Stutt. \u201cBy bringing Concrete and their team into the King fold, we\u2019re going to be creating a whole new media network for Canadian skateboarding, which we hope the community here will rally behind.\u201d<\/p>\n

Concrete will launch with a new vision to its print offering in 2016, and for the remainder of 2015, it will continue to generate great digital content through its website and social media platforms. The Board Press will continue to release two print issues per year, available during trade show season and release content through its website 24\/7.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m excited to announce a positive change with all these respected and quality publications under one roof and firing on all cylinders. This is a triumph and will strengthen our industry and Canadian skateboarding. I am looking forward to everyone working together to make sure skateboarding is healthier and prospering more than ever,\u201d said Kevin Harris, founder of Concrete Skateboarding Magazine.<\/p>\n

We are pleased to say that Concrete\u2019s Editor, Jeff Thorburn, will remain with the mag and also join King Shit\u2019s existing editorial team, and Mike Prangnell will also remain on as Managing Editor of The Board Press.<\/p>\n
