The snowboard events will features a slew of snowboarders we&#8217;ve never heard, but it is technically a world championship and there will be world titles handed out in Slopstyle, Halfpipe, Big Air, and Parallel GS. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In the snowboard events, approximately 250 athletes representing 36 countries will compete in 12 events including the inaugural Ladies\u2019 Big Air event. The U.S. is sending a team comprised of 23 veteran and up-and-coming riders to be led by Sochi Olympians <strong>Alex Deibold<\/strong> (Manchester Center, VT), <strong>Justin Reiter<\/strong> (Steamboat Springs, CO), <strong>Ty Walker<\/strong> (Stowe, VT), and <strong>Ryan Stassel<\/strong> (Anchorage, AK) and three-time snowboard cross World Champion <strong>Lindsey Jacobellis<\/strong> (Stratton Mountain, VT).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>See what we mean? The reason we&#8217;re mentioning this is because <strong>Universal Sports Network<\/strong> will be covering the events <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/universalsports.com\/watch-live\/\">live and online<\/a><\/strong>.
