The catch? All you have to do is help raise at least $5,000 and you&#8217;re in surfing the Bu with a pack of friends (and your favorite pro surfer, maybe even <strong>Joel Tudor<\/strong> pictured above).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Teams aim to raise at least $5,000 for SurfAid and, in order of their fundraising total, each team picks a pro\/legend surfer to join them, for a total of five surfers per team. The teams then compete in one-hour heats, with four teams battling out the final. An Expression Session will also be held at Malibu on Friday 6th September as a warm-up for the competitors. . . ASP world tour surfers <strong>Travis Logie<\/strong> and <strong>Courtney Conlogue<\/strong> and former world longboard champions Joel Tudor and Jen Smith have confirmed they will compete this year.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For the official details from SurfAid, follow the jump.<!--more--><strong>SurfAid calls for teams to enter the SurfAid Cup Malibu<\/strong><br \/>\nHumanitarian organization SurfAid is calling for teams to enter the second annual SurfAid Cup at Malibu, California, on Saturday September 7th, 2013 \u2013 its major fundraising activity in the US.<\/p>\n<p>Surfers who compete get the chance to surf the classic Malibu pointbreak, with a pro surfer\/legend on their team, and only a few people in the water.<\/p>\n<p>The tag-team SurfAid Cup is part of the MSA Classic Invitational, which is presented by the Malibu Surfing Association from September 6th &#8211; 8th.<\/p>\n<p>Teams aim to raise at least $5,000 for SurfAid and, in order of their fundraising total, each team picks a pro\/legend surfer to join them, for a total of five surfers per team. The teams then compete in one-hour heats, with four teams battling out the final. It&#8217;ll be a real privilege surfing Malibu with only a couple guys out,\u201d Logie said. \u201cIf it\u2019s anything like the SurfAid Cup in Margaret River, Western Australia, it&#8217;ll be a huge success.
