At first glance the sign, which tells surfers to go to another beach, appears real. . . The sign ends with &#8220;Surf Cowells instead.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It fooled some surfers for a while, but most figured it out after reading the &#8220;Surf Cowells instead&#8221; line. Desperate times requires desperate measures.
