Multi-year partnership to support elevation of professional skateboarding competition<\/p>\n

Los Angeles, Cali. (April 11, 2013) \u2013 Today, Street League Skateboarding (SLS) is proud to announce a multi-year partnership with Nike SB that supports the mission of elevating professional skateboarding worldwide with the SLS Nike SB World Tour. Nike SB will focus on evolving the fan and athlete experience at each North American arena stop of the tour including Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO on June 9th, Rose Garden Arena in Portland, OR on July 14th, and Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on August 25th for the SLS Super Crown World Championship.<\/p>\n

The SLS Nike SB World Tour features a standard format and championship qualification point system across a seven-stop series including international events in Brazil, Spain, and Germany. The series features twenty elite pros competing for the largest cash prize purse in professional skateboarding history, with the winner of each stop of the world tour receiving a first place prize of $100,000. Winners at each stop also earn a golden ticket to the SLS Super Crown World Championship, where the 1st place prize check doubles to $200,000. Each stop of the 2013 SLS Nike SB World tour will be televised live on ESPN\/ESPN2.<\/p>\n
