\u201cIt was just time for me personally to move things to the next level,\u201d said Buddy Carr. I had a good run the last 23 years, but the opportunity to purchase part ownership in a brand with such a rich history was the right thing for me at this time. Having been in the industry since 1975, I feel like I have had a front row seat to Bennett\u2019s heritage and ties to the birth of modern skateboarding. I see tremendous potential in that legacy,\u201d Carr explained.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bennett Boardsports, LLC, manufacturer of Bennett Truks\u2122 and Alligator\u2122 Wheels, announced today that Buddy Carr has joined the company and will serve as it\u2019s new President. Carr will oversee all aspects of brand and product development, including Bennett\u2019s Lightbeam\u2122 and Spacedeck\u2122 Skateboards.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are absolutely thrilled. Buddy Carr\u2019s reputation and experience will ensure that our brands will continue to remain authentic and grow for many years to come,\u201d said Mr. Bennett, the company\u2019s founder.<\/p>\n
