He was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. . . Malden police and state police attached to the district attorney\u2019s office are investigating the circumstances.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the manager of a nearby convenience store, two men were seen &#8220;running down a side street&#8221; following the shooting.
