It was reportedly her first time snowboarding.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Bono Mack was, according to her official Twitter account, vacationing at Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort with husband Connie Mack when the incident happened. . . &#8220;Took my first snowboarding lesson ever today @skipurg with @conniemackiv. Hmmmm. Yeah.. no..don\u2019t think I will make the switch from skis. . . [then later} Boarding experiment over. Broken right wrist. Damn. There goes ski season. Good time to work on my book. Great loving husband.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Though who know will remember that Mack&#8217;s former husband Sonny died in January 5, 1998 at <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.skiheavenly.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Heavenly Valley<\/a><\/strong> resort from &#8220;massive head injuries&#8221; after hitting a tree while skiing.
