The offer was believed to have been made by US private equity giant <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tpg.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">TPG<\/a><\/strong>. Private equity firms have of late targeted Pacific Brands, Spotless and PaperlinX.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>TPG owns 253 companies from varying sectors including <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.3dayblinds.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">3 Day Blinds<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.caesars.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ceasars Entertainment<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ducati.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ducati<\/a><\/strong> to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jcrew.com\/index.jsp\" target=\"_blank\">J.Crew<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usairways.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">US Airways<\/a><\/strong>.
