Great riders, great concept and idea people\u2014I now have the dream team, 2-headed monster, sonic fist of doom, to unleash on marketing and communication.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For more on Amy and Kevin and exactly what they&#8217;ll be doing in their new positions, follow the jump.<!--more-->THE ALLIANCE NAMES AMY EICHNER AS BONFIRE PRODUCT LINE MANAGER AND KEVIN STEVENSON AS BONFIRE AND SALOMON MARKETING MANAGER<\/p>\n<p>Portland, OR (January 23, 2012): Bonfire Snowboarding and Salomon Snowboards is pleased to announce the internal promotions of Amy Eichner and Kevin Stevenson. Amy will transition to the position of Product Line Manager of Bonfire, and Kevin Stevenson to Marketing Manager of both Bonfire and Salomon. <\/p>\n<p>As Product Line Manager, Amy will head Bonfire\u2019s product creation process, increasing the performance, efficiency and expertise of Bonfire\u2019s industry leading apparel. In her new role Amy will be charged with bringing products to the market that speak directly to Bonfire\u2019s brand values as an authentic rider-driven company. <\/p>\n<p>Marketing Manager Kevin Stevenson will expand his current marketing role in Salomon and will now be responsible for managing all elements of the marketing concept, plan, and strategy, from graphic design to brand identity\u2014ensuring our story of rider driven, innovative and quality product is heard loud and clear. <\/p>\n<p>Brad Steward, Head of Action Sports at Amer commented on both of the appointments, \u201cAmy and Kevin make this all so easy. Great riders, great concept and idea people\u2014I now have the dream team, 2-headed monster, sonic fist of doom, to unleash on marketing and communication.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amy is no stranger to the snowboard scene\u2014her legacy at Bonfire began after a long-standing career as an X Games podium athlete and pioneer of women\u2019s snowboarding. For the past eight years, Amy has served as Global Marketing Manager for Bonfire and Salomon, where she created the brand tools for our sales organizations throughout the world.<\/p>\n<p>Said Eichner, \u201cI know I can kill it in this new role, I get to make stuff for people to have fun in\u2014which is part of why I love coming to work every day. Get ready to see better Bonfire products, that are awesome for riding and wearing everywhere you go.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For the past three years, Kevin has served in a multi-tiered marketing role specific to Salomon efforts, where he focused on bridging the gap between product and consumer marketing. Kevin will continue to bring his influence as a core skateboarder and snowboarder to the brands and is determined to reinforce Bonfire and Salomon\u2019s mission to critically damage preconceived notions of what riding gear can be.<\/p>\n<p>Said Stevenson of his new role, \u201cIt\u2019s been a good three years at Salomon, and I\u2019m thinking I\u2019ve got it pretty damn good.
