Well, if you&#8217;re business jock (and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nixonnow.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Nixon<\/a><\/strong> co-founder) <strong>Andy Laats<\/strong> you spend your spare time with a group called the &#8220;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sdsportinnovators.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Angel Investing Group of San Diego Sports Innovators<\/a><\/strong>&#8221; looking for daring new action sports companies who can take a little money and turn it into a lot, according to a story in the <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.signonsandiego.com\/news\/2011\/aug\/09\/column-name-im-there-for-you-baby\/\" target=\"_blank\">San Diego Union-Tribune<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Attracting the money to fund these new companies is the next step for this group that is headed by former basketball star <strong>Bill Walton<\/strong>. The event was held at his house, which is like walking into a rock \u2019n\u2019 roll, basketball, <strong>Grateful Dead<\/strong> overgrown rain forest complete with tennis court and even a teepee.
