All along we thought it seemed like an odd strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Now, in <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jeffharbaugh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jeff Harbaugh&#8217;s<\/a><\/strong> latest <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/business.transworld.net\/2008\/11\/10\/market-watch-orange-21-spy-optics-recent-filings\/\" target=\"_blank\">Market Watch column<\/a><\/strong> on <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/business.transworld.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">TransWorld Business<\/a><\/strong> he looks into the details of the this situation and comes away with a similar, though much more informed, analysis.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This request to negotiate a deal, which didn\u2019t have a clearly identified strategic rationale and requires financing that apparently isn\u2019t in place had potential to be very distracting at a time when Orange 21 is busy just running its business in a difficult economy.
