Winter is over. Done. Goodbye. We’ve gone from crushing, dumping storms, to 80 degrees inside of a week. Here’s more proof. Southern California’s Mountain High Resort<\/a><\/strong> is having a their annual Miss Mountain High Pageant<\/a><\/strong> (click for photos from last year<\/a><\/strong>) at 1 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2011 as part of the Spring-a-Ma-Jig.<\/p>\n

The Miss Mountain High Pageant is free to enter and all participants receive a FREE bikini from Fresh Peaches. Winner takes home a 2011\/12 Season Pass, an Ellis snowboard, 2 tickets to the \u201cBig 4\u201d concert, and is named next year\u2019s Miss Mountain High.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Wrightwood, CA \u2013 March 31, 2011: Spring-A-Ma-Jig, Mountain High\u2019s annual spring break celebration, returns Friday, April 1st, through Sunday, April 3rd, for three big days of on-snow celebration. Daily activities include Pond Skimming, the Big Ollie, the Frozen T-Shirt Contest, and more. The Neff Beach Jib Jam and the 3rd Annual Miss Mountain High Bikini Pageant also add to the fun on Saturday, April 2nd. There will be live music, DJs, vendors, giveaways, and tons of spring break fun. All events with the exception of the Neff Beach Jib Jam are free with paid admission. Friday, April 1, 2011
\n11:00am Big Ollie \u2013 Snowboarders must \u201collie\u201d as high as they can in this heart pumping competition. The bar goes up after each round until only one rider remains.
\n12:00pm Tug O War \u2013 A new spin on an old favorite. This Tug of War takes place in the snow and the loosing team might end up in the pond.
\n2:00pm Frozen T-Shirt Contest \u2013 10 t-shirts have been frozen in the icy tundra of Mountain High\u2019s North Resort and the competitors must break them apart and put them on. First one to dawn their frozen shirt wins a goody bag filled with Mountain High swag.
\n3:00pm Pond Skimming \u2013 The quintessential event at any spring break. Skiers and snowboarders must cross a 50 foot pond filled with freezing cold water or suffer the consequences.<\/p>\n

Saturday, April 2, 2011
\n10:00am NEFF Beach Jib Jam \u2013 Produced by NEFF beanies, the Neff Beach Jib Jam is a rail jam in Mountain High\u2019s famed Playground Jib Park with five different features including a water hole. Yes, you will probably get wet! Riders have 15 minutes to session each feature and score their best trick. $20 to enter. Free NEFF beanie for all participants. Open and grom divisions. $1,000 cash prize. Free food & drink. DJ Mike Bless and much more.<\/p>\n

1:00pm Miss Mountain High Bikini Pageant<\/p>\n

The Miss Mountain High Pageant is free to enter and all participants receive a FREE bikini from Fresh Peaches. Winner takes home a 2011\/12 Season Pass, an Ellis snowboard, 2 tickets to the \u201cBig 4\u201d concert, and is named next year\u2019s Miss Mountain High. Registration begins on the West deck at 11:00am. All contestants must be 18 years of age or older. Competition kicks off at 1:00pm. Immediately following the event is a meet & great with the new Miss Mountain High plus live music from Stone Stanley on the main stage.
