Lost<\/a><\/strong> clothing license back to co-owners <strong>Matt Biolos<\/strong> and <strong>Joel Cooper<\/strong>, according to a story on <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apparelnews.net\/news\/manufacturing\/010711-Lost-Leaving-La-Jolla\" target=\"_blank\">ApparelNews.net<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThere was a disparity between the clothing and the boards,\u201d Biolos told the trade publication. \u201cThe two parts of the business didn\u2019t relate to each other. Taking the apparel back [in-house] gives us a chance to do our own thing. We want our vibe to be consistent.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Disparity&#8221; is such a nice way of saying it. We&#8217;re pretty sure there is no great love lost between the &#8220;edgy&#8221; surf brand and the main stream fashion licensing corporation.
