Ross Clarke-Jones stood beside the ambulance and looked almost white. \u201cI didn\u2019t even realise it was Luke. It\u2019s looks really bad. I tried to stop the bleeding, but when I tried that he couldn\u2019t breathe,\u201d said Ross. From all reports Luke\u2019s board had snapped while he was in the shorebreak. How he impaled himself is unknown.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Luckily, there were bystanders on the beach who were able to stabilize him before he was transported to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.queensmedicalcenter.net\/\" target=\"_blank\">Queen&#8217;s Medical Center<\/a><\/strong> where he was reportedly in critical condition, according to the <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.staradvertiser.com\/news\/breaking\/111631474.html\" target=\"_blank\">Honolulu Star Adversier<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.
