Her fianc\u00e9 owns a skateboard shop, and the first time they took her son Sasha to a skate park, they noticed he seemed more relaxed. . . A.skate operates on the idea that the repetitive motions of skateboarding help calm symptoms of autism. The organization&#8217;s events are free for the participants and their families and are supported by fundraisers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ryan was joined by members of the skate community including <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.skateboardermag.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Skaterboarder Magazine<\/a><\/em><\/strong> editor <strong>Jaime Owens<\/strong> (pictured right helping Sam Tobin, 8, of San Diego get rolling).
